TEXSOM Expo Tables & Trade Wine Dinner (Dallas)
ABOUT: WA WINES TO THE WORLD, in partnership with Botrytis Consulting, will showcase Western Australian wines at TEXSOM Conference 2025 with two dedicated tables at the Expo Trade Tasting sessions. TEXSOM routinely brings 1200+ wine professionals from all over the USA to Dallas, and the Expo Trade Tasting sessions offer more exposure than any other event at TEXSOM – allowing all attendees (and volunteers) to participate and taste wine.
We will also hold a bespoke wine dinner the week of TEXSOM in Dallas. This will be an intimate dinner for 12 key trade, limited to 9 wines. The proposed venue is the renowned Pappas Bros Steakhouse, with additional value in the form of a BTG takeover and Western Australian spotlight page being discussed.
This activation is being project managed by Jane Lopes and Jonathan Ross of Botrytis Consulting: USA-based Australian wine ambassadors, Master Sommeliers, educators and events management consultants, as well as co-authors of How to Drink Australian (released August 2023 to glowing reviews globally).
WA PRODUCER BENEFITS:
Exposure of WA wine, specifically your wines, to engaged trade and key industry leaders, from across the USA, at the TEXSOM Conference 2025 in Dallas (max 12 SKUs).
A showcase event for your wines, for 12 influential trade, at a bespoke winner dinner held at a renowned venue in Dallas (max 9 SKUs).
WA wines presented by two trusted American wine authorities.
Both activities will be promoted via a dedicated EDM to TEXSOM's extensive trade audience and via their social channels.
Wineries opting in for the wine dinner, may also be invited to participate in a WA BTG promotion with the selected venue (details still in discussion).
OBJECTIVES:
These activities are designed to raise awareness and create demand for WA wines amongst key USA trade (specifically for the brands taking part).
With our ongoing asssociation with TEXSOM, we aim to firmly place Western Australia (its wines and regions) in the minds of USA sommeliers.
AUDIENCE: An influential audience of sommeliers and wine professionals from across the USA.
ELIGIBILITY:
Wines must be represented in the USA market with existing stateside inventory.
Wineries must pay the USD participation fee(s) as outlined below PLUS provide required wines (delivered to Texas) from USA stateside inventory.
Wines must be from a WA regional GI.
Note that producers and/or their representatives are not required to participate in person (but are asked to contact us if they'd like to be invovled).
COST TO PARTICIPATE:
WA Tasting Tables at TEXSOM Expo - USD $200/SKU (3 bottles/SKU req’d)
Bespoke WA Wine Dinner (12 key trade) - US $300/SKU (2 bottles/SKU req’d)
Wine producers may participate in one or both activities.
TIMING:
3rd July - Deadline for producer registrations
25th July - Deadline for wine deliveries to TEXSOM
25th August - TEXSOM 2025 commences
