China Promotions Support Program
ABOUT: For producers represented in China to undertake a range of promotions.
Retail promotions, on-trade promotions, distributor support/incentive programs, corporate client promotions and attendance at tradeshows are all eligible.
WA WINES TO THE WORLD will provide 40% support for eligible promotional campaigns for any:
Single producer campaign of up to $10,000 (max. reimbursement of $4,000), we will accept only one submission per producer.
Multiple producer campaign of up to $25,000 (max. reimbursement of $10,000), we will accept only one submission per distributor/export consultant.
All expenditure must fall within the 2024/25 FY.

OBJECTIVES:
Increase commitment of importer, distributors and trade partners
Increase consumer awareness of participating brands
Increase consumer pull-through of participating brands
Increase new listings and retailer pull-through (off and on-premise)
Increase commitment of sales teams
Increase interest in WA category overall
AUDIENCE: China trade, importers, distributors, agents, wholesalers/resellers, and consumers (includes Mainland China, Hong Kong & Macau).
ELIGIBILITY:
Participating producers/brands must have existing inventory in China. This program is not intended for producers/brands that do not already have representation in China.
Eligible wines must be GI’s from Western Australia. These can include producer brands and Buyer Own Brands.
Spend must be made within the 2024-25 financial year.
COST TO PARTICIPATE: Net cost to producers will vary depending on the specific value of the proposed promotion (see maximum spend limits above). There is no minimum spend requirement.
TIMING: Round 1 submissions now OPEN. Submissions close 15th November 2024.
