Support for Regions & Producer Groups (CHINA)
ABOUT: This program enables WA regions and collaborative producer groups to put forward their preferred China activations (or projects), which they intend to coordinate directly, for funding support through WA WINES TO THE WORLD. Under Support for Regions & Producer Groups we will consider two different project categories:
Small Projects - These typically average around $5,000 funding support, but can be of higher value.
Large Projects - These are significant projects in terms of their total value and expected outcomes, requiring $20,000+ funding support.
WA WINES TO THE WORLD will provide funding support of up to 40% of total project cost, although projects that contribute more than 60% funding from industry and/or other contributors will be viewed favourably. Applications must be submitted by the intended lead organisation.
OBJECTIVES: Support WA regions and producer groups to put forward their preferred export activations for China, which they intend to coordinate directly. Proposed activations must contribute to the overall program KPI's:
Grow WA wine export sales volume to China
Grow WA wine export sales value to China
Grow the number of WA wine exporters to China
ELIGIBILITY: All WA wine regions and collaborative producer groups are eligible to participate. Projects must be focused on China export activity. Producer travel and freight/logistics costs will not be covered under this program.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Applicants need to provide a detailed submission with itemised budget for review. Note that submissions will be reviewed on a competitive basis, subject to a budget pool and in the context of the total 2024/25 program composition.
COST TO PARTICIPATE: Subject to total project cost and funds contribution breakdown proposed by applicant.

Jan 01, 2025: Earliest commencement date for projects
