UK/Ireland Distributor Incentives Support Program

ABOUT: Direct support to producers undertaking new or expanded distributor incentives programs targeted at sales team performance (and their trade accounts) in the UK or Ireland. Format consists of 30% financial support for all eligible distributor incentives.

All distributor incentives programs that are designed to motivate sales team performance will be eligible for support.  These may include any combination of new listings targets, sales volume targets, sales value targets etc. Examples of incentives awarded to sales teams that will be financially supported include monetary incentives, gift vouchers, consumer goods, travel etc.

Depletion allowances offered to accounts, tied to specific performance criteria, will also be supported.  Examples of performance criteria include BTG commitments for a given time frame, monthly order volume targets etc.

Samples cost will also be included under this program, calculated at 30% of domestic RRP, up to a maximum of $9/bottle.

OBJECTIVE: Increase commitment of distribution partners and their sales teams, achieve new listings and retailer pull-through (off and on-premise) and build brand awareness for the WA category across the 2023-24 program and beyond.

AUDIENCE: Distributors to incentivise front-line sales staff and their trade accounts. Whole of UK and Ireland covering all distributor models.

ELIGIBILITY: Participating producers/brands must have existing inventory in their distributor warehouse in their chosen market. Eligible wines must be GI’s from Western Australia.

COST TO PARTICIPATE: Net cost to producers will vary depending on the specific value of the proposed distributor incentive.  There is no minimum spend requirement. 

TIMING: Round 4 submissions for promotions taking place from July 1st 2024 through of the end of the FY, now OPEN.
