UK/Ireland Retail Promotions Support Program
ABOUT: WA WINES TO THE WORLD is offering support for producers already established in the UK or Ireland markets to undertake promotions with their key retail partners.
The program will provide 40% support for eligible retail promotional campaigns (physical stores and online) up to a maximum of $8,000 for any one eligible campaign ($20,000 total spend).
A variety of retail promotions will be supported, both physical and online. Examples may include in-store tastings, priority placements (case stacks, end caps etc.), POS (floor displays, posters, shelf talkers etc.), retail sales staff incentives, catalogues, competitions, coupons/vouchers, EDM campaigns, digital magazines, digital banners ads, digital platform costs, virtual activations etc.

OBJECTIVE: Increase commitment of distribution and retail partners, achieve significant sales pull-through for WA wineries and build brand awareness for the WA category across 2024-25 and beyond.
AUDIENCE: Distributors and their key retail partners, to increase consumer pull-through. Whole of UK and Ireland covering retailers of any size, from national chains through to single store merchants – physical stores and online.
ELIGIBILITY: Participating producers/brands must have inventory in store in their chosen market. Eligible wines must be GI’s from Western Australia. These can include producer brands and Buyer Own Brands.
COST TO PARTICIPATE: Net cost to producers will vary depending on the specific value of the proposed retail promotion. There is no minimum spend requirement.
TIMING: Round 4 submissions for promotions taking place from July 1st 2024 through of the end of the FY, now OPEN. Submissions close 28th June 2024.
