Taste Western Australia Fine Wine Buyers’ Mission

ABOUT: WA WINES TO THE WORLD - together with Austrade/TradeStart - is funding a delegation of wine distributors/buyers to visit Western Australia, taking place the week commencing May 13th 2024.

This will be an immersive program covering various WA wine regions, packed full of curated producer tastings, regional masterclasses and trade showcase events, as well as a good amount of exploration of the landscapes and terroir of the regions.  We are aiming to bring in a group of 10-12 distributors and buyers from selected Asian markets and the UK.

OBJECTIVE: Target highly-engaged distributors/buyers from selected Asian markets and the UK that are seeking to expand their wine ranges, with a significant interest in the wines of WA. This tour aims to create significant export opportunities for WA brands, ultimately generating sales and building awareness of the category as a whole.

ELIGIBILITY: Specific opportunities will be open to export-ready Western Australian producers (seeking distribution in the selected Asian markets).

TIMING: Week commencing 13th May, 2024. Producer EOI registrations close 10th April, 2024 (note opportunities for Margaret River/SW and Great Southern producers have already closed).
