    The wine world is seeing an explosion of interest in regional wine stories told differently. To satiate this interest, WA WINES TO THE WORLD is uncovering new and unique Western Australian wine content that will capture the interest of international wine trade and consumers.

  • WA Educational & Media Assets

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD has developed a suite of stand-alone educational and media assets to cover all WA wine regions. We will continue to build on this and launch a complete WA Media Kit for WA industry to engage their global audiences.

  • Support for Regions & Producer Groups

    This program enables WA regions and producer groups to put forward their preferred export activations (or projects), which they intend to coordinate directly, for funding support through WA WINES TO THE WORLD.

  • New Exporters Workshop

    Workshop plus one-on-one coaching to guide new exporters on brand pitching, pricing, distributor decisions, export toolkit essentials and more.

  • UK & Asia Wine Buyer Tour: May 2025

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD - together with the Margaret River Wine Association and Great Southern Wine Producers’ Association - will bring a delegation of wine buyers from the UK and Asia to visit Margaret River and the Great Southern, taking place from 5-9 May 2025.

  • Wine Intelligence Global Consumer Data

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD believes that access to relevant international consumer data will significantly benefit many participants in export markets. At the start of this program WA WINES TO THE WORLD subscribed to access relevant global consumer data on behalf of WA industry to build this knowledge base.

Past Activations

  • Vinexpo Asia Pacific 2024 (Hong Kong)

    Vinexpo Asia Pacific has been the most influential wine trade fair for wine and spirits professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. The event is set to make a return in 2024 to Hong Kong, from 28 to 30 May. WA WINES TO THE WORLD is planning for WA regions and wines to have a significant presence at Vinexpo Asia 2024 within the larger Wine Australia stand/footprint.

  • Taste Western Australia Fine Wine Buyers' Mission

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD - together with Austrade/TradeStart - is funding a delegation of wine distributors to visit Western Australian wine regions, taking place in May 2024. We are aiming to bring in a group of 10 distributors from selected Asian markets.

  • ProWein 2024 (Germany)

    Wine Australia will be returning to ProWein in March 2024, with a large stand in the middle of the Australian area, generating excitement for the category and attracting a high calibre of visitors. WA WINES TO THE WORLD is planning to support a regional booth for Margaret River plus masterclasses for Margaret River and Great Southern.

  • Support for Regions & Producer Groups (small projects) 2023

    This program enables WA regions and producer groups to put forward their preferred export activations (or projects), which they intend to coordinate directly, for funding support through WA WINES TO THE WORLD.

  • Wine Retail Buyer Tour (Margaret River & Great Southern)

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD - together with the SWDC and GSDC (TradeStart), and Australia’s South West - is funding a delegation of wine retail buyers to visit Margaret River and the Great Southern, taking place in October 2023. We are aiming to bring in a group of 10 retailers from the UK and selected Asian markets.

  • Vinexpo Asia 2023 (Singapore)

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD is planning for WA regions and wines to have a significant presence at Vinexpo 2023 within the larger Wine Australia stand/footprint. We will subsidise exhibitor booths, plus offer producers places on shared regional stands and in regional masterclasses.

  • ProWein 2023 (Germany)

    Wine Australia is returning to ProWein 2023 in Germany where they will take a large stand in the middle of the Australian area, generating excitement for the category and attracting a high calibre of visitors. WA WINES TO THE WORLD will take a regional stand for Margaret River and masterclasses for Margaret River and Great Southern.

  • Inbound Trade Visit

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD co-funded a delegation of 10 x trade visitors from Asia and the UK to Western Australia (with TradeStart). This took place in October 2022 and coincided with key events in the Great Southern (Wine Show of Western Australia) and Margaret River (Fine Vines Festival).

  • Wine Intelligence Global Consumer Data (2021-22)

    WA WINES TO THE WORLD believes that access to the latest international consumer data will significantly benefit many participants in export markets. In 2021/22 we subscribed to 12-months of global consumer data on behalf of WA wineries, and offered them a subscription to Wine Intelligence at a significant discount.

  • WA Educational and Media Assets (2021-22)

    In 2021 WA WINES TO THE WORLD developed a set of educational and media assets covering all WA wine regions to build the international profile of Western Australia.

  • Australian Wine Discovered - Great Southern

    Develop Australian Wine Discovered unit for Great Southern to ensure that GS is in Wine Australia’s ‘cassette deck’ and that quality, easily-adapted material is available for trade and consumer education.

  • Australian Wine Connect

    For the 2021/22 Program we worked with Wine Australia to promote WA Wine on Australian Wine Connect. This included Australian Wine Connect Curated Collections, Australian Wine Connect Virtual Expo Spaces & Australian Wine Connect Regional Features.
